Willow is a very exciting material to use for sculptural purposes. It is both tough but flexible and comes in a variety of colours.

The living willow courses can run from late autumn through to mid spring depending on the weather.

In addition to this, non-living sculptures can be produced throughout the year.

Creating your own tunnel, harbor or shelter is a very rewarding skill to learn, not only does it give you a fantastic individual piece of creative garden sculpture it also teaches you the basic skills necessary to make other features for the outdoors, such as trellising, archways, furniture, etc.
